Topographical Surveys

Topographical surveys

Topographical Surveys are a detailed representation of an area of land showing natural and manmade features, levels, slopes and areas. These can be produced as 2D and 3D CAD drawings as well as 3D Revit Models.

An accurate topographical survey is imperative prior to any form of site development. This will prove beneficial to all parties involved in a scheme or project.

The specification for a topographical survey can be tailored to suit each individual site but will generally include; the outline of existing buildings and structures, boundary details, tree positions, street furniture, a grid of levels, ground surface types, service cover positions and drainage details. Additional information can be included such as features adjacent to the site or underground services.

Working to RICS regulation, all surveys are carried in accordance to the ‘RICS Specification for Measured Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger, 3rd Edition’. Accuracies and Tolerances are in line with this document.

Topographical Surveys are supplied as a 2D or 3D CAD drawings, 3D Revit model, PDF or paper prints.
